Edinburgh, Ind., company sustains its commitment to growth and diversification
Edinburgh, IN.—M A Metal Co., Inc., a local contract metal stamping and forming company, today announced that it has expanded its service capabilities by adding a new mechanical and hydraulic metal bending and forming machine: the Mac-Tech Ermak CNC AP Press Brake.
The new, high-speed machine exerts up to 193 tons of pressure and accommodates large metal pieces on its 12 foot, six axis press. It can be used to manufacture parts for automobiles, consumer products and more.
“Linking of precision laser cutting to an advanced, automated CNC press break will let us meet almost any metal forming need for our customers,” said Fred Stadler, CEO of M A Metal. “We can also assist them with development and engineering.”
The industries M A Metal serves count on accuracy of part specs and on-time delivery of their orders. This new machine will help M A Metal achieve both. It has synchronized hydraulic cylinders with advanced proportional valve control for reliable and repeatable performance. The Ermak CNC AP also handles high-volume jobs faster by providing M A Metal with increased production speeds and faster processing power.
M A Metal machine operators benefit from the high-powered, easy-to-use controls by Titano. The graphic interface includes multi-tasking software, a revolutionary production management environment and an onboard machine CAM.
The proven durability of the Ermak CNC AP means less downtime for M A Metal. And, if problems should arise, M A Metal will have access to Mac-Tech’s nationwide service network.
“This new equipment produces high-tolerance metal work in lower volumes,” said Stadler. “So, now we can respond to changing customer needs quickly and at highly competitive costs.”
As a contract manufacturer, M A Metal and its experienced, knowledgeable management team wants to provide a full line of service to all its customers and continue meeting customers’ demands both now and in the future.
